Edgerton Books and Art, located at 4 West Fulton Street in downtown Edgerton, houses the largest used bookstore in the area. The store is also a gallery for local artists including, among others, former Edgerton High school art teacher Fred Maves and jewelry maker Sandy Kotwitz. Items for sale include ceramics, jewelry, photography, wood items, paintings, items decorated with rosemaling, milk paint furniture, purses and bags, and greeting cards.
For book lovers, stepping into the charming store is like entering a candy shop. As you wander through the “rooms” filled with fiction you will find over 9,000 volumes. A wide range of non-fiction books numbering over 3000 await you as well. Used books range from 75 cents for children’s books to $2.50 for hardcover books. Profits from used books go to the Edgerton Alumni Foundation to fund educational projects in Edgerton.
