We invite you to jump into some fun in the Rock River Lake Koshkonong Recreational Area.

Whether you want to catch some fish, or catch some rays, you’ll have a blast exploring our waters.  At over 10,000 acres, Lake Koshkonong is one of the largest lakes in Wisconsin, and when combined with the adjacent Rock River, you’ll have over 25 miles of navigable waterway to explore and enjoy. Whether you love skiing and tubing, fishing or kayaking, there’s plenty of elbow room on the water for everyone to enjoy.

You won’t find a friendlier bunch of people, than the folks that live and play in the Rock Koshkonong area.  We’re the “let your hair down and put on your comfy clothes” kind of place.  Stop in at one of our local pubs or restaurants, and you won’t be a stranger for long.  Join in the conversation about what kind of fish are biting, or get advice on where the best fish fry is, or where to catch some great live music.

Be sure to check out our local pubs and restaurants to sample the unique flavors of Rock Koshkonong, such as the famous Walleye & Eggs at Norm’s Hideaway, or the Lobster Boil at The Buckhorn Supper Club.  Pull your boat up to one of our unique waterfront eateries or pubs to enjoy dining with a waterfront view.  Sunsets on the Lake Koshkonong are legendary; be sure to ask a local where their favorite spot is to watch the sun slip down into the lake.

During the day, we have plenty of action & events happening around the lake area at our campgrounds, pubs, restaurants and marinas. And the fun doesn’t end when the sun sets at the lake! We have great night life in the Rock Koshkonong area. You can catch some live music every weekend around the area.
